Only a stroll away from Washington Old Hall is this traditional country Inn where visitors can appreciate the atmosphere of a cosy, warm,  local pub whilst sampling some of the fine ales presented here. At the entrance to the pub the floral display is based around tubs made from genuine Oak whisky barrels. The same oak tub theme is used around this area in a tasteful sympathetic way which works well to complement the village.

The tubs are reworked locally at Tubs and Shrubs in West Boldon.
